Moonwalking in Calabasas

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Uncle Nearest 1856 whiskey
  • ¾ oz. Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. Simple syrup
  • ½ oz. Averna
  • 6 dashes Rhubarb bitters
  • ½ oz. Egg white

Instructions

  • Add whiskey, lemon oleo, Averna Amaro and egg white, if using, to a shaker.
  • Dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice.
  • Add ice and shake again for 15–20 seconds, until well chilled.
  • Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice, or into a coupe without ice.
  • Garnish with 3–4 drops of rhubarb bitters.
